Warren Avenue Playfield in Bremerton, Washington is a 1.9-acre neighborhood park with lighted soccer, football, and softball fields along with a playground.
Bremerton Parks and Recreation wanted to update this park with a new two-unit restroom building with a central mechanical room. The park provides active and passive recreation opportunities for sports groups and the community. Other renovations also took place to revitalize the park including new paths, a paved parking lot, new LED sports lighting, a spectator seating area, a new picnic shelter, and a new playground.
The City of Bremerton acquired the park in the 1920’s and has made upgrades to the park since it became a part of their system. The previous restroom building was built in the 1950’s.
Romtec has worked with Bremerton Parks and Recreation in the past on a restroom building at Manette Park, Blueberry Park, and Kiwanis restroom and pavilion.
The Romtec restroom is a Custom 2022 model with a single slope roof, tongue and groove decking, concrete block wall, fiber cement board, and gable vents.
This was the second Romtec building Sound Pacific Construction has installed, with the first being Manette Park Restroom. Sound Pacific Construction is based out of Gig Harbor, WA and mainly works on underground utilities, roads, sidewalks, and driveways.
