The City of Pawtucket in Rhode Island completed several upgrades to Max Read Field, a community sports complex. These improvements increased the capacity of the venue while modernizing some existing facilities and improving the functionality of the site. Romtec provided a new concession stand building with attached restroom facilities as part of the upgrades. One of the primary improvements is the addition of the new synthetic athletic track & field. These state of the art athletic facilities include drainage systems for year round use and activities. These fields provide space for football, soccer, lacrosse, and other community sports. The City also greatly increased the capacity of this sports facility with a new 800 seat bleacher structure. Located on the banks of the SeeKonk River, this sports complex also received improvement to its infrastructure with retaining walls and new walkways. The improvements at Max Read Field show the City of Pawtucket’s dedication to supporting their local sports community.
