The 866-acres of Big Creek Lake is the focal point of the 3,550-acre complex that makes up Big Creek State Park in Polk City, Iowa. The park offers a large wooden playground, beach volleyball, swimming, fishing, a marina, and picnic areas. Romtec was enlisted to design and supply 15 different structures at the lake. To offer services to all of the tourists that come to the shores of Big Creek Lake, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources got these matching Romtec public restrooms, pavilions, and cabanas. The Lake formed by Big Creek Dam, is the biggest attraction at the park and provides the visitors with many recreational activities. The Romtec pavilions and cabanas are the perfect place to have a safes and comfortable picnic during a visit to Big Creek State Park.
