The City of San Marcos, California recently opened Richmar Park to the public. This park is part of an ongoing revitalization effort in the Richmar neighborhood, the oldest in the city. The park itself is 1.8 acres and features an area for children to play, a picnic/social area, walking paths, and a performance area with a gazebo. The restroom building features separate men’s and women’s restrooms along with a large maintenance room, an added storage room, and a communications room with equipment. The exterior of this restroom features several different colors of CMU block that are patterned to give the building a unique look without adding substantial costs to the project.
