Romtec recently provided a multi-purpose weather station for Sycamore Grove Park which is located in Livermore, California. The weather station provides park visitors with a covered area to check the weather with a useful information kiosk complete with a tablet for use. Romtec designed the weather station to be ADA accessible with a custom fabricated stainless steel counter that can be pulled away from the building for easy access from a wheelchair. Sycamore Grove Park has two entrances. Each of the entrances feature picnic areas and restrooms, and the restrooms were previously provided by Romtec. A 2.5 mile paved path connects the two parking lots, while a number of dirt paths stem off of the main paved path, allowing hikers to explore and experience the variety of wildlife the park offers.
