Wilsonville, Oregon is located just to the south of Portland in the metro area, situated next to the Willamette River where the city got its start.
The city was founded as Boones Landing thanks in part to the Boones Ferry which crossed the Willamette River in the mid 1800’s. Interstate 5 now crosses the Willamette River over Boone Bridge close to where the ferry used to cross the river.
Wilsonville is home to many parks and outdoor recreational activities including Bullwinkle’s Family Fun Center which includes mini golf, bumper boats, arcade, go carts, laser tag, and more.
Trocadero Park is a small two-acre park located in the Villebois neighborhood. The park features a skate park, a playground, picnic tables, grass play area, picnic shelter, and restrooms.
The City of Wilsonville is the owner of this park which is situated in the Villebois neighborhood; a 500-acre community located at the former site of the Dammasch State Hospital.
Polygon Homes was one of the builders of this neighborhood and was part of developing this park on behalf of the community and the City of Wilsonville.
Romtec worked with the City of Wilsonville on their Memorial Park restroom and the Trocadero Park restroom will be pretty much the same, matching the design and exterior.
The Romtec 2024– Sierra II Pioneer restroom building features two unisex restrooms, mechanical and storage room, glulam truss roof extension, metal roof, fiber cement board and batten siding, polycarbonate windows, and ledgestone veneer rock siding.
At Romtec, we design, supply, and build restroom buildings all over the country for neighborhood parks, larger regional parks, and campgrounds. We can match a certain aesthetic to keep a unified look across a park district which also helps with maintenance of buildings.
We can help you create an amazing restroom building that fits the needs and setting of your park. Contact us today to get started on your project.
