Hampden Township, Pennsylvania is a municipality with the largest population in Cumberland County at around 33,000 people.
The Conodoguinet Creek crosses up and down through the township on its way to the Susquehanna River just to the east.

The Hampden Township Veterans Park is a place for celebration and observances for veterans who served in any branch of the armed forces. The 17-acre park has a walking trail, amphitheater, and points of remembrance along with a memorial for everyone to observe Memorial Day and Veterans Day while remembering the sacrifice of those who were lost. The park features a memorial with the American Flag which is visible from Interstate 81.
Romtec provided the design and supply of a Modified 2022 Sierra I single restroom for the Hampden Township Veterans Park.
Dawood Engineering, Inc. was the engineer and project driver for Romtec on this restroom building. Dawood Engineering civil engineering services out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Romtec worked through the preliminary design with Dawood Engineering for a single-user restroom with an attached 20′ picnic shelter that is going into a very tight space on site. Hampden Township purchased the supply through the PA COSTARS contract.
The single user unisex restroom and attached picnic shelter features a metal roof, CMU split face concrete block wall siding, timber truss, solar panels, gable vents, vent boot, a mechanical room, and timber columns.
Shiloh Paving and Excavating was the installation contractor who completed the building with a high level of craftmanship. Shiloh is based out of York, Pennsylvania and provides paving, utility work, concrete, and many other site construction services.
