Romtec designed and supplied the new aquatic building at Lake Nanuet Park in Nanuet, New York. The large pool that is the central feature of the park is shaped like a lake and includes several design features that make it ideal for swimmers of all ages. This pool was recently improved by the town that included a new pool building. The pool is gently sloped and has clear indicators to mark depth levels using the color of the pool floor to identify the shallow and deep end. The pool was originally owned by a day camp until 1971 when the City purchased the land and opened the pool to local residents. The new Romtec pool building was installed to replace a building that was over 40 years old. The new building includes many features to support swimmers and pool staff including privacy stalls for changing in the restroom, exterior rinse-off showers, and a lifeguard room that includes a private restroom/shower and locker room. Lake Nanuet Park is one of several improvement projects being completed to improve their parks and recreation facilities for local residents.
