Romtec and the City of Huntington Beach worked together to design and construct a new team building for the Central Park Sports Complex. The new building is available for reservation for youth sports leagues. This building’s unique aesthetics comprise a stucco exterior, natural stone wainscot, and light green metal roofing. This design matches a ticket window and restroom building supplied by Romtec previously at the park. The new building design started as a standard Romtec utility building that was reconfigured into two rooms with one side for staff and the other as the team room for athletes. The Huntington Beach Central Park is the largest in Orange County at over 350-acres. There are 45-acres of combined fields for softball, baseball, and soccer. The park has many other recreational activities besides sports. Visitors can play disc golf, ride horses at the Central Park Equestrian Center, picnic under covered shelters, or take their children to the park’s adventure playground. There are both paved and dirt pathways available for jogging or simply navigating the park. Events are also hosted regularly throughout the year, and the park’s amphitheater can be reserved for weddings or other activities. This massive park offers refuge from the city life for visitors, there is something for everyone to enjoy!
