Holly Springs, Georgia is a city in Cherokee County that is about 35 miles north of Atlanta.
Interstate 575 connects Holly Springs with Atlanta. Holly Springs’ population was 16,213 as of the 2020 census, up over 7,000 people from the previous census in 2010.
Just to the west of Holly Springs, Lake Allatoona is a large lake that comes from the Etowah River creating recreational activities such as camping, fishing, and boating. Canton is the county seat of Cherokee County, just to the north.
Holly Springs has a variety of attractions that make it unique including J. B. Owens Park, The Golf Club at Bradshaw Farm, Badger Creek Park, Blankets Creek Mountain Bike Trails, Cherokee County Aquatic Center, Nuevos Amigos Cocina Mexicana, Olde Rope Mill Park, Holly Springs Train Station, Hickory Trails Park, JJ Biello Park, Hobgood Park, Taylor Randahl Memorial Bike Trails, Fields Landing Park, and Georgia National Cemetery.
A 13-acre park recently went through some renovations in Holly Springs called Barrett Memorial Park which is the city’s first major recreational area, featuring a playground and a walking trail, which meanders through a scenic natural area. Barrett Park will feature a multipurpose field, a gazebo, a new covered pavilion for picnics, and fenced off-leash dog parks.
Romtec created a unique painted log pavilion that the owner dropped into a set of bid documents and bid to contractors. Magnum Contracting won the installation of this unique painted log pavilion project.
The Romtec painted log pavilion features log columns, log purling, log truss, metal roofing, and wood fascia creating a wood themed shaded area in the park great for picnics.
We had to produce this unique painted log pavilion package very quickly (within 1 ½ months) because they had a fast schedule for installation with a quick turnaround. Our production team was able to produce it quickly and had it ready way before Magnum Contracting’s delivery date.
