Romtec was contacted to design, supply, and construct a restroom building and a pavilion structure for Cresta Park in Sacramento, California. Cresta Park is used primarily by families from the surrounding residential area. Visitors have access to a range of different activities in the park, including basketball courts, tennis courts, and a soccer/multi-use athletic field. Playground equipment is also available in the park with BBQ grills and picnic tables nearby. Several of these picnic tables are sheltered beneath the new Romtec pavilion. The pavilion was constructed using timber trusses with stone wrapped CMU columns to create a unique and appealing aesthetic. The multiuser restroom facility includes the same style of stone for its wainscoting with board and battens above it. The front of the building also features a stainless steel drinking fountain with a dog fountain. Arden Park and Recreation District has done an excellent job in providing their communities with great parks by including features that are valued by residents into each of their facilities.
