Romtec designed and supplied a restroom building and a trash enclosure structure at Dunphy Park in Sausalito, California. These new buildings are one aspect of the improvements being completed at Dunphy Park by the Sausalito Parks & Recreation Department. The park was originally opened in 1972 after the property was used as the informal dumping spot for years. Today it is a beautiful park that offers an excellent view of the Bay. Visitors have access to a walking trail, bocce ball courts, and a sand volleyball pit. A gazebo is located near the shoreline of the park and can be reserved for hosting events. The new restroom building will provide two ADA accessible multiuser restrooms with a central mechanical room. The trash enclosure provides a shaded space for dumpsters while maintaining a pleasing visual aesthetic in the park. The improvements completed in the park have added many interesting features to the park for visitors to enjoy. Sausalito’s Parks & Recreation Department have done an excellent job in improving the already impressive Dunphy Park and providing high quality amenities for the community.
