Romtec designed, supplied, and constructed a conventional restroom building for the Joel Perkins Park in Lafayette, Oregon. Lafayette is the third oldest settlement in Oregon and was founded in 1846 by Joel Perkins. The park was established around the same time, making it one of the oldest city parks in the state. Visitors have access to two play structures, a covered picnic shelter, and green space. The new restroom building includes two ADA accessible unisex restrooms with a third mechanical room that accesses the plumbing and can be used for storage. Joel Perkins Park has seen a number of improvements recently including a historical marker to commemorate Joel Perkins and show the significance of his actions for the area.
