Romtec designed and supplied this four room Waterless Restroom for the Showers Point Campground in Arizona. The Campground sits in the Coronado National Forest just northeast of Tucson, Arizona in the Santa Catalina Mountains around 7,700 feet. Showers Point is open each year from April through October. There are three separate group campsites, one of which is ADA accessible and offers a paved, wheelchair accessible path. Each of these group sites can accommodate up to 25 people. Just a short hike from the Campground, visitors can reach beautiful viewpoints where they can see the Santa Cruz Valley and the Santa Rita Mountains stretching to the horizon. Alternatively, visitors can hike to the Sabino Canyon Recreation Area on the Palisade Trail to the southwest. This Waterless Restroom design reflects the theme of the campground with a brown board & batten exterior and brown roofing. The design options also include rugged and durable building components, such as concrete-fiber siding, standing seam metal roofing, and a SIP panel roofing structure for added insulation. The end result is a waterless restroom that fits into the Campground’s landscape seamlessly.
