Chugach National Forest near Cooper’s Landing, AK

It might be tempting to believe that these photos are of the same building, but they are actually three identical waterless restroom buildings built in different areas of the Chugach National Forest surrounding Cooper’s Landing, AK. The Chugach National Forest here is managed by the USDA Forest Service. Romtec designed these buildings to maintain a consistent style throughout the park and the other regions under USDAFS management. Aside from looking good, the cedar siding on these vault restrooms provides excellent durability and insulation during the severe Alaskan winters.
