Lake Oswego, Oregon was founded in 1847 and features the scenic Oswego Lake which is 405 acres surrounded by forested hills.
Lake Oswego is located about 8 miles south of downtown Portland while Interstate 5 sits on its western border and the Willamette River on its eastern edge.
The City of Lake Oswego was a hub for Oregon’s iron industry in the late 1800’s but is now a suburb of Portland.
George Rogers Park was Lake Oswego’s first community park with 26 acres that features two baseball/softball fields, a soccer field, access to the Willamette River, a memorial garden area, ADA restrooms, playground, natural area, and two outdoor tennis courts.
Oswego Creek runs out of Oswego Lake along George Rogers Park until it meets the Willamette River.
There is an historic iron furnace in the park that is listed on the National Historic register which is a nod to the iron history of Lake Oswego.
Lake Oswego Parks and Recreation is the owner of George Rogers Park who wanted to install a new high end ADA restroom building.
Romtec provided a custom 4-pack restroom that features four ADA family restrooms, a mechanical room, a metal roof, and heating in the building.
Romtec did some value engineering to reduce the size of the building in order to match the budget for the project. Romtec demolished the existing building, while supplying and installing the new building in a full turnkey replacement project offering.
Romtec also worked with Lake Oswego Parks & Recreation on the East Waluga Park restroom building to streamline Lake Oswego’s public restroom buildings with all the same fixtures and options.
If you are in need of a high-quality ADA restroom building, that will fit the aesthetic of your park system, contact us today to see how we can match other buildings or set a new standard for your park restroom structures.
