Carmel or Carmel By the Sea is a small city on the California coast on the Monterey Peninsula in Monterey County.
Pebble Beach is adjacent to Carmel which is home to the world-renowned Pebble Beach Golf Links which has been home to some of the biggest tournaments in golf.
Carmel is home to the Carmel Mission which has a museum and library of the village. There are many attractions in Carmel including the Scenic Bluff Path, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Carmel Beach, Point Lobos State Natural Preserve, Garrapata State Park, and Carmel River State Beach.
Rancho Canada Golf Club is a former golf course that was taken over by Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District. It is now part of Palo Corona Regional Park with that portion of the park now known as the Rancho Canada unit.
The Rancho Canada unit also contains a Discovery Center and serves as District headquarters. As part of adding a dog park, nature trails, parking lots, shade structures, playground, and pollinator demonstration garden, there was a need for a restroom building.
Romtec was contacted by, and worked directly, with Page & Turnbull on the drawings and specifications for an 8-PAK restroom with stucco siding and Spanish tile roofing.

The eight single user restroom building features a mechanical room, metal tile roof, stucco siding over concrete block wall, attic gable vent, and wall vents. The intention for the restroom was to match the Discovery Center which is also on site.
