Romtec is supplying three steel pavilions for this park that is getting completely torn down and installed so this will be all new construction going forward. We have worked with WSB and the city to define the building design and requirements of the structure. Once the design was complete the city purchased the buildings directly through Sourcewell and will have the General Contractor coordinate the installation for the building.
The general contractor was Loeffler Construction & Consulting who installed the three Romtec pavilions.
WSB served as the engineer for this project. We have worked with them before on the Shamrock Township and Sunny Square Park projects.
The City of Lakeview is very pleased with Romtec’s pavilions, as well as its cooperative purchasing process. One of the structures has a storage area incorporated.
Since Antlers Park is a high use public space in Minnesota, these new and existing features boast sand volleyball courts, a large custom recreation building, and covered grilling areas. Its proximity to Lake Marion makes it ideal for outdoor recreation.
The pavilion with storage space features a metal roof, steel truss, steel columns, stone siding over CMU concrete block wall, along with split face block gable. The larger one has a metal roof, steel columns, steel truss, and stone veneer siding and pier caps over the 8″x16″ CMU smooth face concrete block base.
Romtec was proud to design and supply these three pavilions for Antlers Park in Lakeville, Minnesota for the City of Lakeville providing a new space for gatherings, community events, and recreational activity at Lake Marion.
