Dallas is about 8 miles northwest of Monmouth which is home to Western Oregon University while being about 30 miles from Corvallis and Oregon State University.
The Dallas Retirement Village in Oregon, provides both independent and assisted living facilities for retirees on a 30-acre campus. The Dallas Retirement Village reached out to Romtec for a custom wood pavilion to provide a covered outdoor space as a place for activities for retirees. The Village has a pool, coffee shop, dining room, library, movie theater, and workout room.
Romtec supplied the Village with a beautiful rough-hewn timber pavilion for shelter from the Oregon sun and rain. A stage area was included in the design to host outdoor entertainment activities for the residents.
The pavilion was also constructed with an electrical system to provide light for the shelter and stone wrapped footers to complement the rustic wooden trusses.
The 20’ x 30’ wood pavilion resembles the front entrance to the Village which has a large, covered timber sawn roof that creates a covered drive-thru drop-off area. The pavilion features a metal roof, full sawn timber trusses, and wood columns all adding to the look and feel of this beautiful pavilion.
Romtec was pleased to be a part of this pavilion at the Dallas Retirement Village in Oregon providing a covered outdoor space that is great for activities throughout the year. If you have a need for a timber pavilion that matches other buildings or a certain aesthetic, contact Romtec today.
