Parkitecture and Planning reached out to us to provide a splash pad restroom with covered picnic area for the Village of Grafton at their new Riverbend Park. The restroom has a roof extension with glulam beams, rafters, and steel columns that provide the splash pad restroom with a covered picnic area.
The new restroom, along with the new 10-acre Riverbend Park, has basketball courts, a splashpad, a playground, pickleball courts, open space, and picnic tables. The restroom and adjoining picnic shelter, with the covered roof extension provides a shaded shelter for users to get out of the sun or rain. The restroom ties the park, playground, splashpad, and sports courts together, providing drinking fountains to allow users to cool off and refresh after their recreational activities.
