Contra Costa County recently completed construction on the new Hemme Station Park in Alamo, California. Romtec was contacted to provide the design and supply of a unique pavilion for the park. The pavilion design reflects an onsite restroom building with matching “fish scale” exteriors, column wraps, gable windows, and more. The park is directly accessible via Alamo’s Iron Horse Trail and offers several amenities joggers may find useful, including water fountains, benches, and restrooms. Beneath the shade of the pavilion, several tables are available for picnics. More tables are located along the decomposed granite walkway and offer great views of the landscaped area. Overall, Hemme Station Park is a beautiful space and a great local amenity for the City of Alamo.
