For this veteran’s memorial park restroom, Romtec partnered with the Township of Randolph, New Jersey to provide a building that fit the needs of this new park. The veteran’s memorial park restroom includes a multiuser toilet area with storage space and exterior that blends beautifully with the country backdrop.
The restroom features a composition roof, board and batten siding, stone veneer, and a 6’ timber truss roof extension. The Romtec designed and supplied restroom building was brought to us by French and Parello who we have worked with on numerous projects before. They were developing the park with the Township of Randolph. The addition of this new park, which has a community garden, walking trails, a veterans memorial area, and a band shell, is a great gathering place for community events.
The Township of Randolph, New Jersey is in southwest Morris County, about 40 miles northwest of New York.
As part of a Master Plan update by the Township of Randolph, it was determined that there was a need for a community park that was not solely designed around active athletic fields.
The goal was conceived to create a park that would invite members of the community to participate in non-sport recreation such as township events, light exercise, educational programs, gardening, walking, and other uses. The creation of this type of park would help provide recreation for all township residents in Randolph. The township relied on feedback from the community for the creation of the amenities at the park.
