Romtec designed, supplied, and constructed a conventional restroom building for one of the new Swift Green Line Transit Stations. This is a new transit line being opened by Community Transit, the public transportation authority in Snohomish County, Washington. The line will connect the Seaway Transit Center in Everett to the Canyon Park Park & Ride in Bothell. Romtec worked with Community Transit to design the building according to the specific needs of this project. This included using a single pitch roof with a roof extension to cover the entrances. Additionally, the restroom building will be used primarily by bus drivers and other members of the staff and is only accessible through a secure key lock. One area of the building is also dedicated for on-site storage of supplies. There will be a grand opening celebration for the Swift Green Line this Sunday, March 24 2019, at the McCollum Park Park & Ridge from 11 a.m – 2 p. m. This new facility does a great job displaying the dedication to quality that Community Transit has for their public transportation system.
