For this soccer field restroom, Romtec provided our 4-PAK restroom building with four single user restrooms to serve a new soccer field at the Essex County College West Essex Campus. This soccer field is home to the Essex County College men’s and women’s soccer teams, along with local high school soccer matches.
We worked with Essex County, French & Parrello, and Applied Landscape Technologies, all of whom we have worked with before, to bring this restroom to life at the West Essex Campus, home of the new turf soccer field.
Included in the improvements to the campus were a new education building, a new parking lot, bleachers, and outdoor lighting.
West Essex Community College Campus
The West Essex Campus built a new building with new labs and classrooms along with the soccer field for both the College’s Men’s and Women’s teams as well as local high schools. The campus upgrades included a 350-vehicle parking deck with a walkway to the main building. The West Essex Campus is home to the soccer teams, bleachers, outdoor lighting, and a restroom was added for the project.
Romtec worked with French & Parrello on the bid drawings and specifications that were put out to public bid twice.
French & Parrello is a repeat project driver for Romtec, and a landscape architect who brought us all the Essex County and Turtleback Zoo projects. We have worked with French & Parello on Big Cat Complex at Turtle Back Zoo, Cottrell Farm Park, Princeton Healthcare Systems, and Calais Road Community Park projects. French & Parrello is an engineering consultant in Wall Township, New Jersey with 50 years of experience.
New Soccer Field Restroom
Applied Landscape Technologies installed the soccer field restroom building on behalf of Essex County. They are a repeat contractor for Romtec buildings and a direct customer through several public bid projects in New Jersey. We have worked with Applied Landscape on the Turtleback Zoo, Methacton HS Athletic Facility, and Rahway River Park projects.

We were proud to provide this soccer field restroom building for the West Essex Campus, and for their new turf soccer field in West Caldwell, New Jersey for Essex County. This restroom provides the capacity for numerous games or events nearby and blends in beautifully with the surrounding buildings and campus.
This soccer field restroom is a welcome addition to the West Essex Campus as it enhances the space, is aesthetically pleasing, and allows physical education, events, and tournaments to be held at the new soccer field. The restroom blends in with the surrounding buildings and environment per its design which we delivered along with plan sets for Essex County.
