Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge in Stow, Massachusetts
The Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge covers 3.5 square miles located just south of the towns of Maynard and Stow in Massachusetts. Historically, this area was a part of Fort Devens outside of Boston, but the land was transferred to US Fish and Wildlife Service in 2000. This beautiful area provides visitors with hunting, fishing, and hiking opportunities in a rustic setting. Romtec designed this restroom with a utility storage space to house maintenance supplies for this rural setting. A river stone wainscot was included to match the surrounding environment. This restroom facility includes a roof extension for protection from weather and a pleasing appearance.
