Lake Havasu, AZ

To provide services for the flocks of tourists who regularly visit Lake Havasu, the BLM of the Lake Havasu Field Office bought this Romtec public restroom with a custom steel beam pergola. The Parker Dam, finished in 1938, creates this large reservoir that has attracted water skiers, fishermen, and avid spring breakers for many years. This concrete building includes untreated steel beams, red roofing and vents, and a red concrete walk to recall the colors of the arid landscape surrounding this reservoir.
