Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests is a protected park with a variety of wilderness areas to the west. The national forest is home to the largest natural lake in Colorado, Lake Granby. The lake and forest have a plethora of hiking trails, recreation areas, and campgrounds.
The Rocky Mountain National Park is to the northwest, creating a variety of outdoor activities in the protected mountain terrain.
This city is settled at the base of the Rocky Mountains and has an elevation of 5,430 feet. It’s 25 miles northwest of Denver, Colorado.
The Flatirons are five flat mountain peaks that provide some unique hiking trails. Other attractions include Eldorado Canyon State Park, Pearl Street Mall, Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art, Scott Carpenter Park, Baseline Reservoir, Harlow Platts Community Park, and Mount Sanitas Trailhead.
The Boulder Civic Area boasts a central park and a variety of activities. Included in this central park and civic area is a playground, public library, and a separate library community workshop for community learning called BLDG 61. The BLDG 61 features laser cutters, sewing machines, welding tools, CNC machines, 3D printers, and a variety of other equipment.
Adjacent to this central park area are the farmer’s market, the Evert Pierson Kids Fishing Pond, and the Glen Huntington Band Shell which provides art and cultural performances. The central park and civic area offer facilities, sidewalks, educational signage, and benches.
The City of Boulder needed a restroom building for this central park area near BLDG 61 and adjoining pathway that matched the existing library building.

Romtec designed and supplied this Modified Model 2061 Sierra III multiuser restroom for the Boulder Civic Area Park in Colorado. It is home to a variety of activities especially when summer art festivals, concert series, or large community events are taking place.
The Romtec restroom building features a single slope roof, fiber cement board and batten siding over CMU concrete block wall above ledgestone stone veneer, solar tubes, and standing seam metal roofing.
