Have you ever wondered how you could purchase a restroom building without having to go through the traditional bid process?
With Sourcewell you can purchase a restroom directly from Romtec through their purchasing contract while still meeting procurement guidelines.
Sourcewell is a cooperative purchasing contract that saves time and money from its ready-to-use and competitively sourced contracts.
They streamline the procurement process by developing RFPs and IFBs for competitive solicitations that meet or exceed local bidding requirements.
Their process is constantly evolving to meet the needs of participating entities and offer quality products from nationally acclaimed suppliers. Romtec is a proud member of Sourcewell after going through their competitive procurement process.
Sourcewell is available to any government, education, or nonprofit entity to use their contracts without any cost or obligation.
Competitive Solicitation Process
Sourcewell has established a solicitation process where they handle both requests for proposals on general purchases and invitations to bid on construction contracting – creating a seamless process for you to purchase a Romtec building or structure.
They review the proposals and evaluate them based on certain scoring criteria.
Contracts are then awarded to the most responsive and responsible suppliers and award notices are sent.
Rest assured Sourcewell vets their suppliers to ensure quality candidates are selected.
Purchasing in 3 Simple Steps
To start the purchasing process and get access to the Sourcewell cooperative benefits simply follow these three steps:
Register – Schools, nonprofits, and governments can register to participate for free with no obligations or commitments. Businesses, however, are not eligible to participate in Sourcewell cooperative purchasing.
Find a contract – Romtec is one of the many suppliers that has been awarded a contract with Sourcewell. You can even look at construction contracts by state or county near your area.
Contact Romtec – If you’d like to utilize the Romtec contract through Sourcewell, you can get a quote, and confirm the sale with us or a local Sourcewell dealer using Romtec’s contract number and your agency’s Sourcewell account number.
Meeting Procurement Guidelines
An agency’s ability to use the purchasing contract depends on joint powers, intergovernmental cooperation, and cooperative purchasing laws.
Sourcewell works to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements affecting a participating agency’s ability to use cooperative purchasing contracts.
Standard federal terms and conditions are included in Sourcewell purchasing contracts. For specific compliance questions, please contact supplier@sourcewell-mn.gov.
A purchasing agency can propose new or additional terms that don’t interfere with the purpose of the contract. It’s always good to review your local procurement requirements as there may be things required that are not included in Sourcewell’s terms and conditions.
