Project Gallery

The City of Martinez previously worked with Romtec on the Golden Hills Park project and we kept in communication with the city about future project needs.

After some time, the city and Tanaka Design Group needed a restroom and concession building for their Hidden Lakes Park Project. We worked with both entities to plan the layout and design of the building.

The key features of building include a concession room, multi-user men’s and women’s restrooms, gable vents, exhaust fan, split face CMU block, standing seam metal roof, mechanical room, 6′-8″ X 4′-0″ aluminum roll up concession door with a service window and stainless-steel countertop.

The architect was Tanaka Design Group who provides creative landscape architectural services, from urban design to open space solutions based in San Francisco, California.

The installing Contractor was Suarez & Munoz Construction for this Hidden Lakes Park project. The Suarez & Munoz team performed well with installing the Romtec building and provides construction services and management based out of Hayward, CA.

Concession Building at the City of Martinez

The city was satisfied with the outcome as well as the process. The Romtec project and construction management were very responsive throughout the project and process, making the city very happy in the end.

Romtec was pleased to work with the City of Martinez on another park project that was designed with a layout to accommodate large events and sports tournaments at the Hidden Lakes Park including providing a concession window that can provide refreshments during tournaments.

Romtec designs, supplies, and constructs restroom and concession buildings for park departments all over the U.S.

We can design a restroom and concession building to fit your park’s needs, match a certain aesthetic or building and meet your timeline with a quick turnaround. Contact us today to get started.

That Memorial Park Project is one of our favorites too – it truly made a positive impact for our visitors, and we will continue to keep Romtec in mind as opportunities to collaborate come up!

I have to mention that aside from the products Romtec supplies and the workmanship of the subcontractors (Ken and crew), I’m also very impressed with your responsiveness to issues – you’re a far cry from the usual taillight warranty.

You get what you pay for. Romtec provided the most perfect, seamless, flawless project I could have imagined. I would use Romtec 100 times over and will not consider any other options moving forward. You were able to beat my original budget and expectations. Everyone involved was great from sales to construction management, to the construction team themselves.

If I were to do this again, I would no doubt hire Romtec and its subcontractors to do the installation. Hindsight is always 20/20 and I learned a valuable lesson that I will hire Romtec’s certified installers to do the construction.

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Dan Keagy (Romtec’s assistant construction manager). He in my opinion went above and beyond to solve our problems and problems that were not necessarily his or Romtec’s to solve. He is a great guy and great resource for Romtec. Overall, the biggest thing to me was the service after the sale. Romtec didn’t just make the sale and move on, but they supported us through a very long and arduous construction process.

Romtec was phenomenal when it came to service after the sale. They were available anytime there were questions. In addition, there were some issues with missing materials. Even though it was not Romtec’s fault for the missing materials, the were more than willing to send us the missing materials to get the project done. Romtec even sent out a representative to tour the site to give firsthand recommendations on how to proceed.
