Romtec buildings can be included in a public bid using company-provided drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. The process involves selecting a building type, working with a representative to finalize design details, and receiving “or-equal” specifications and supporting documents for the bid package.
Design/Plans
Starting in the preliminary phase and with no upfront cost, Romtec offers architectural design services, helping develop custom building designs and early estimates. Our in-house team creates drawings, provides sealed plan sets for all 50 states, and works with local building departments to meet codes and speed up approvals. The service also includes value engineering to adjust designs if they exceed budget, keeping projects aligned with cost goals and overall requirements.

Purchasing Options
A Romtec bid package allows project owners to include Romtec’s building designs and “or-equal” specifications in a competitive bid process for public projects. Romtec provides stamped and sealed plans, specifications, and material packages that the awarded contractor uses to complete the project. Purchasing Contracts

Building Supply
Romtec delivers a complete material kit to the project site, including all components needed for construction, organized by each stage of the build. Installation can be completed by a local or Romtec-certified contractor, with materials designed for efficient assembly and long-term durability. Coordinated delivery, structured packaging, and ongoing support help streamline construction, reduce delays, and ensure high-quality project completion.

Construction
Construction services are available to manage projects from initial design through final installation, including site preparation, demolition, and full buildout. This turnkey approach brings together a single, coordinated team with construction management support to ensure efficient execution and high-quality results. For contractors, all plans, materials, and scope of work are provided, allowing installers to stay focused on construction while receiving guidance throughout the process. In addition, becoming a Romtec installer is straightforward: contractors supply the crew, while design, bidding, and material supply are handled on their behalf.

Project Management
The Project Management team plays a critical role in delivering a seamless Romtec experience. Once a purchase order is received, your project is immediately transitioned to this team, where all processes are set in motion to move it efficiently through submittal approval, manufacturing, and final shipment.
