The city is home to Coyote Lake, Chesbro Lake, Uvas Reservoir, and Anderson Lake while State Route 101 runs through town. Wine growing and many vineyards blanket the area due to the Mediterranean climate.
Various attractions include Chesbro Reservoir County Park, Uvas Reservoir County Park, Morgan Hill Outdoor Sports Center, Morgan Hill Community Park, and Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve.
The Coyote Ridge Open Space Preserve in Morgan Hill, California is home to many trails for biking, hiking, and horse backing. The Preserve has an overlook, parking, picnic area, restrooms, scenic overlook, and a staging area. Cinnabar Hills Golf Club sits just to the west of the Preserve.
This project at Coyote Ridge Open Space Preserve was a custom SST Aspen Waterless Restroom Model 1011. The requirement for a restroom structure in the Preserve was brought to Romtec by 450 Architects. 450 Architects is an architect based out of San Francisco, CA.
The owner of the project is Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority.
Robert A. Bothman Construction was the general contractor who worked with Romtec previously. Robert Bothman Construction is based out of Santa Clara, CA and provides construction and general engineering services.
The single user restroom features a poly vent, corrugates roofing that matches other shade structures on site, red cedar fascia siding, privacy screen, resawn timber beams, and a 1000-gallon polyethylene vault.
Romtec was happy to be a part of this restroom project where we added a valuable restroom to this great open space preserve.
