East Rapids Elementary School is a school in Grand Rapids, Minnesota that is part of the Independent School District 318.
The principal of East Rapids Elementary School contacted us to provide the design and supply of a school pavilion for an outdoor recreational area at the school. The purchasing customer for this project was Independent School District 318.
This is a first-time customer, and they wanted to have the building delivered quickly, so this was a faster moving project. It is a Model 3010, so we were able to complete the quick turnaround and meet their timeline for installation before the winter.
The pavilion features a metal roof, resawn timber columns, resawn timber truss, a concrete walkway, and a resawn timber knee brace. This pavilion creates a shaded space in the school’s recreational area while also providing an aesthetically pleasing structure that fits into the surrounding fields.
TNT Construction Group LLC was the installation contractor on behalf of School District 318. TNT Construction provides high quality general construction services. Specializing in industrial, commercial, municipal, and government projects based in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
Romtec worked with TNT Construction on the Pokegama Log Pavilion project that is also in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

Romtec designs, supplies, and builds pavilions of various styles and types for parks, schools, and municipalities all over the U.S.
Our team of experts creates a unique design to meet the needs of the location, to provide maximum value to the place, the project, and the people it serves.
We create pavilions that can match other buildings or blend in with similar structures in the surroundings. This is a common occurrence as customers often look for similar aesthetics when it comes to these structures in public places.
Romtec also designs and supplies restroom buildings for parks, pools, trailheads, campgrounds, and other recreational spaces across the country. We even design restrooms with a roof extension that acts as a covered picnic area, like a pavilion attached to the restroom building.
