Taylorsville, Utah – Taylorsville Park Restroom
The Taylorsville Park Restroom project shows how a thoughtfully designed public restroom can strengthen a community park. Designed and supplied by Romtec, this custom restroom improves comfort, safety, and day-to-day usability for visitors. It supports everyday recreation, family outings, and large community events while blending seamlessly with the park’s existing features.
As part of a major upgrade to one of the city’s most popular parks, the restroom was built to be durable, accessible, and easy to maintain. Its split-roof design mirrors the nearby pavilion, creating a cohesive look across the park. The result is a long-lasting public facility that serves the community now and well into the future.
Taylorsville Park is located in the heart of Taylorsville, Utah, and is one of the city’s oldest and most frequently used neighborhood parks. With playgrounds, sports courts, open lawn areas, and a pavilion, the park hosts daily visitors and seasonal community events.
Recognizing the growing demand, City of Taylorsville identified the park as a priority for upgrades. A modern, permanent restroom building was a key part of improving visitor comfort, accessibility, and overall park experience.

Taylorsville Park Restroom Design & Finishes
The new restroom was designed specifically for public use in a high-traffic park environment. The layout emphasizes accessibility, privacy, and ease of maintenance.
From early planning through final design, Romtec worked with the City and design team to ensure the building met current standards and long-term operational needs at Taylorsville Park.
Building Specifics
Romtec designed and supplied the complete restroom structure, coordinating closely with project partners to ensure the building fit the park’s architecture and construction requirements.
The architectural coordination, led by G. Brown Design alongside landscape architect Joseph Wing, Ben White, worked with Romtec who helped ensure the restroom matched the pavilion and surrounding park structures, creating a unified look throughout the site.

Park Restroom Solutions
Before this project, Taylorsville Park lacked modern restroom facilities. As park usage increased and new amenities were added, the absence of a permanent restroom limited how long visitors could comfortably stay and made hosting large events more difficult.

Meeting Those Custom Project Goals
The City partnered with Romtec to deliver a tailored modern restroom building at Taylorsville Park that met both functional and community goals.
Romtec coordinated closely with the City, Strong Excavation, and the landscape design team including Joseph Wing, Ben White to integrate the building smoothly into the overall park improvements. Clear communication and detailed plans helped keep the project on schedule.
The Taylorsville Park Restroom is an investment in the community. By adding a durable, accessible restroom that matches the park’s architectural style, the City of Taylorsville improved comfort, safety, and usability for everyone who visits the park. This project highlights how collaboration between cities, designers, contractors, and Romtec can deliver custom modern park buildings that will serve communities for decades.
