Shadow Park in Fontana, California is a popular park in the second most populous city in San Bernardino County.
Fontana is also home to the Auto Club Speedway which has hosted NASCAR racing since 1997 with a capacity of 122,000.
The City of Fontana needed to replace the restroom at Shadow Park and the structure had to stay within the footprint of the old building. Romtec provided the demolition, supply, and installation of the restroom as part of our turnkey offering.
Shadow Park features ball fields, a picnic shelter, tennis courts, a playground, picnic tables, barbecue areas, trails, and restrooms.
The City of Fontana is the owner of the Romtec Model 2011 Modified structure that has two all-gender restrooms with one being ADA accessible. The restroom features CMU split face concrete block wall siding, a metal roof, and wire mesh gable vents.
Romtec has worked with the City of Fontana on their Central City Park, Martin Tudor Aquatic Center, and South Fontana Sports Complex.
BMLA, Inc. was the landscape architect and project driver who has worked with Romtec many times on projects for the City of Fontana as well as Canyon Heights Park. BMLA is based out of Corona, California and provides landscape designs that help build sustainable communities.
Romtec installed the building on behalf of the City of Fontana as part of the Romtec turnkey offering. Romtec Construction has worked for many years building structures with a high level of craftmanship as part of our turnkey services.
This restroom was purchased through the California Multiple Awards Schedule (CMAS) Contract which provides products and services at fairly assessed prices to state and local government agencies.
