Bothell is a city in northwest Washington, near Seattle, located in Snohomish County.
As part of the Seattle Metropolitan area, Bothell lies just to the northeast of Lake Washington. Interstate highway number 405 and State Route 522 both go directly through Bothell.
The Sammamish River runs through Bothell as it makes its way to Lake Washington. The City of Bothell is also partially located in King County with a population of about 48,000 people.
At Tambark Creek Park in Bothell, Washington, Romtec was given the opportunity to design and construct two buildings for the 40-acre park.
The two buildings include a restroom with a picnic shelter and a restroom-concession building.
The park, which has a baseball field, softball field, soccer field, playground, dog park, and nature trails provides activities for a wide variety of people who will utilize the Romtec buildings for shelter and amenities. Additionally, Tambark Creek Park has woodlands and wetlands which features picnic shelters and an off-leash dog area.
With the concession building’s roll-up door, concession window, picnic area, and six unisex restrooms, this building is perfect for many different occasions and park activities.
The restroom building with a picnic shelter has two unisex restrooms, a mechanical room, and a porch area that is covered by a metal roof. There is a front porch roof extension with wood truss, gable vents, wood columns, and CMU concrete block wall siding.
Both buildings match as they use the same materials and have a matching theme with the timber truss roof extension, wood columns, and CMU concrete block.
The restroom buildings with picnic shelters attached are a great asset for Tambark Creek Park, Bothell, and for the Snohomish County Parks Department. Romtec designed these restrooms to blend in with the natural areas, the fields, and the forest that make up this beautiful park.
If you need a park restroom, picnic shelter, or concession stand, Romtec can design it to meet your needs, and fit within your timeline and budget all while blending easily with the surrounding environment.
