A new residential development in Katy, Texas required Romtec to design and supply a unique pavilion and restroom structure.
Contra Costa County recently completed construction on the new Hemme Station Park in Alamo, California. Romtec was contacted to provide the design and supply of a unique pavilion for the park.
The Romtec vault restroom design matches the lighthouse and residence buildings, offering white lap siding and red shingle roofing. The specific style of roofing had been discontinued, but Romtec sought out and found a supplier with enough material to complete this building.
The new building design started as a standard Romtec utility building that was reconfigured into two rooms with one side for staff and the other as the team room for athletes.
Romtec value-engineered this restroom to help stay in the city’s budget. Notched joints were used rather than metal brackets on a large covered picnic area, this reduced costs and added a simple appearance.
