The Susan Creek Recreation Area provides easy access to a multitude of outdoor activities. The nearby Susan Creek Campground offers 30 camping spaces, a hiking trail (that is wheelchair accessible) to a scenic waterfall, an amphitheater, and access to the North Umpqua River. The day-use portion of Susan Creek provides cooking grills, horseshoe pits, picnic tables, and a hiking trail. Romtec provided the Susan Creek Recreation Area with an attractive timber post pavilion for visitors to picnic under. The pavilion uses a six-sided, gazebo design and includes attractive and durable stone column post wraps. This pavilion is a wonderful place to host a gathering of friends and family in the Oregon wilderness.
