Olympic View Park in Marysville, Washington was developed by the City of Marysville with the help of grant funding. The park connects to the Ebey Waterfront Trailand the Qwuloolt Estuary. The trail and scenic views that accompany it, have made Olympic View Park a destination, with the Olympic mountains in the background.
The park provides new shoreline access while also providing parking, a restroom, play areas, picnic tables, benches, landscaping, signage, and interpretation. The park adds more recreational opportunities through active play for visitors to enjoy.
The Romtec Model 2004 restroom features a beautiful Tan Block – Board and Batten Siding, along with a metal roof, a concrete block wall, gable vent, a single unisex restroom, and a mechanical room.
The restroom structure supply was purchased directly via the KCDA Cooperative. KCDA provides procurement services to public school districts, state agencies, counties, cities, and colleges throughout Washington. KCDA saves its members money by providing purchasing options and fulfilling bid law requirements which is helpful for public projects.
The City of Marysville plans on using Romtec exclusively moving forward to keep their park buildings uniform for maintenance and aesthetic purposes. Romtec has also won the city’s favor because of our ability to provide various options with purchasing and product offerings.
Matia Contractors, Inc. was the general contractor who installed the restroom building. J.A. Brennan Associates was the landscape architect for the park.
