This lead came from the Ambrose Aquatic Center Project that was purchased through the City of Pittsburg. Ambrose Park and Ambrose Aquatic Center are separated by a fence and Ambrose Recreation & Park District wants their restroom building to match the Romtec building at the aquatic center.
Romtec has worked with the City of Pittsburg on a variety of projects before including Highland Ranch, Hillview Jr. High, John Buckley Square, West San Marcos Park, and San Marco 6 Acre Park.
The Romtec Model 2085 model restroom and concession building features multiuser restrooms, metal roofing, concessions room, garbage enclosure, storage room, mechanical room, single slope roof, and CMU split face block.
Other features of the concession building include drinking fountains, two 4′-8″ x 4′-0″ aluminum roll-up concession window, stainless steel counter, splash guard, and polycarbonate window.
The installing contractor was Saboo Inc. On behalf of the City of Pittsburg and Ambrose Recreation & Park District for the Ambrose Park restroom and concession building. The building was purchased through the CMAS Contract purchasing agreement. Saboo Inc. is a contractor based out of Brentwood, California that specializes in building contemporary buildings and fences.
Matching the Romtec building next door at the Ambrose Aquatic Center was a key part of this project which we were able to deliver for Ambrose Recreation and Park District at Ambrose Park in Pittsburg, California.
The City of Pittsburg Park department was the project driver who brought this opportunity to Romtec.
Romtec designs, supplies, and builds restrooms and concession buildings all over the country to fit the exact needs and requirements of each park or location. Our designs to match other buildings, or fit within a certain aesthetic is where Romtec shines. We have matched hundreds of restrooms to other buildings in the area. This is a common theme among park districts to keep a specific aesthetic across a district but it also has a practical use and helps with maintenance and upkeep.
