Marysville is a city in Ohio near Columbus and is the county seat of Union County.
Columbus is about 27 miles to the southeast of Marysville, Ohio. The population of Marysville was 25,571 at the 2020 census. It sits within the Columbus metropolitan area.

U.S. Route 33, U.S. Route 36, and State Route 4 all run through the city of Marysville.

Union County Joint Recreation District (UCJRD) includes three government entities that was created by the City of Marysville, the Paris Township Trustees, and the Union County Commissioners as they identified the need for recreational facilities and activities to serve all the residents of Union County.
The UCJRD is a 52-acre complex that has many sports baseball fields, cricket field, picnic areas, a playground, restroom, shelters, soccer field, walking trail, and parking. There are approximately 25 acres left for future development by the district at the complex. The UCJRD has plans to develop these acres with additional soccer, football, baseball, picnic/family reunion, tennis, basketball, horseshoe, and shuffleboard facilities.
Large tournaments or community events can take place at the Union County Joint Recreation District sports complex. That is why Romtec was brought on to design and supply a multi-user restroom and concession building with a mechanical room and storage space.
This is an OCEPC Contract Purchase for the Building Supply only as Goodwin Services LLC installed the building on behalf of the City of Marysville and the UCJRD. Goodwin Services LLC provides general contracting services including design-build, turnkey construction, and demolition services based in Marysville, Ohio.
Romtec provided the City of Marysville with our “Owner Supplied” specifications to include in their bid documents for the construction.
The Romtec-supplied restroom and concession building features an aluminum roll up concession window, stainless steel counter, composition roof, lap siding with brick veneer over 8″ X 16″ CMU smooth face concrete block wall, drinking fountains, resawn timber beam with brick veneer, and a roof extension covering the concession area.
Romtec was able to deliver the supply of this restroom building ahead of schedule to help keep the project on track.
